How to enable SMTP Authentication for Apple Mail app

Step 1

Go to your iPhone’s Settings app.

Step 2

Scroll down and select Apps.

Step 3

Tap Mail.

Step 4

Tap Accounts and select mail account concerned.

Step 5

Under the Outgoing Mail Server section, tap SMTP.

Step 6

Tap on the Primary Server listed.

Step 7

Tap Authentication and select Password. Enter your User Name (full email address) and Password (email password). Click Done.
