Telecom Campus, the one-stop shop for competency development in the ICT sector

Telecom Campus, driven by Mauritius Telecom, has been set up to provide Telecommunication and ICT related courses, in an environment conducive to learning and enhanced collaborative work.

Dedicated to develop talent (technical competency and leadership skills) primarily for the telecom industry, Telecom Campus will partner with the best in the ICT sector to deliver Instructor Led Technological Training in the fixed and mobile telecommunications.
MIT GSL Programme, the first MIT initiative in Mauritius
One of the world's most prestigious universities, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is partnering with Mauritius Telecom to provide a free technology incubator programme : The Global Startup Labs (MIT GSL). This multidisciplinary initiative promotes technology entrepreneurship and software development skills in emerging regions.

The GSL incubator will walk future Mauritian entrepreneurs through all the steps of starting a successful startup in a condensed 8-week programme taught by MIT instructors.

The Course is spread over 8 weeks on a full time basis, from 19th June to 11th August 2017.
Venue: Telecom Campus, The Core Building 2nd Floor, Ebène.

Who can apply?
Graduate Students with strong software development skills from local universities, or anyone from the ‘maker or hacker’ community or the tech industry.

How much does it cost?
The program is FREE. There is no fee to pay. Students will be provided top-notch mentorship and free wifi access in a dedicated space at Telecom Campus for the duration of the programme and will be assigned technical and entrepreneurial mentors.

Telecom Campus covers a surface area of 1100 m2 on the second floor of the Core Building in the bubbling Ebene Cybercity, with 7 training rooms and 2 technical labs supported by the latest interactive screens and technologies.
